Cases of concealing revenue were identified in a cafe in Bishkek

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, the State Tax Service conducted a series of inspections at cafes using fiscal software (FS), which is responsible for transmitting sales data to tax authorities. These inspections were part of a pilot project for implementing this system.

As a result of the raids conducted in the "Kuldja HOGO" chain of establishments, serious violations were recorded. In three cafes owned by the same owner, unregistered accounting programs were used, allowing part of the sales to be concealed from the official fiscal system.

Additionally, it was found that payments were made through QR codes registered to individuals rather than to the company itself.

Cash funds were also discovered in the cash registers that were not supported by fiscal receipts.

According to preliminary estimates, since connecting to the FS, the total amount of unaccounted revenue has reached approximately 12 million soms, with the estimated unpaid taxes amounting to around 648 thousand soms.

It is important to note that double accounting and concealment of income violate the law, and various penalties are provided for such actions, including fines and criminal penalties if signs of a crime are detected.

The Tax Service continues its inspections and monitoring of the situation.
