The wooden structures slated for replacement were installed in the 1960s and 70s and have already exceeded their normative service life.
The planned repair works will cover the following districts:
- Ak-Suu Electric Networks – 258 poles,
- Karakoil Electric Networks – 260 poles,
- Jeti-Oguz Electric Networks – 263 poles,
- Ton Electric Networks – 543 poles,
- Cholpon-Ata Electric Networks – 314 poles,
- Tup Electric Networks – 229 poles,
- Balakchy Electric Networks – 282 poles.
The installation of reinforced concrete poles is expected to be completed by the end of November 2026. The poles will be produced at the enterprise's factory in Balakchy, which has been operating since 2017.
It is worth noting that in 2025, more than 1500 reinforced concrete poles were already installed in the region.
These works are aimed at improving the reliability of electricity supply and reducing the likelihood of emergency situations.
