The proposal to amend was initiated by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Deputy Minister of Energy, Nasipbek Kerimov, emphasized that the main goal of this draft law is to create more favorable conditions for the development of renewable energy sources. One of the key changes will be the increase of the capacity threshold for RES facilities from 30 to 50 MW. This will allow for the implementation of more modern and economically sustainable projects that meet international standards and the strategic goals of the republic in the field of "green" economy and energy security.
