- At the press conference on February 24, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank Azat Kozubekov discussed the consequences that may arise for the banking sector of Kyrgyzstan due to the introduction of the 20th package of sanctions by the European Union against the Russian Federation.

Kozubekov noted that work in this direction is being carried out consistently by both the National Bank and the Cabinet of Ministers.

He emphasized that government agencies are taking necessary measures to mitigate potential negative consequences from the sanctions decisions.
