- The EEC Council reviewed a report dedicated to the macroeconomic situation in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as recommendations for ensuring sustainable economic development.

This report summarizes the results of the socio-economic progress of the EAEU countries for 2025, which was marked by an increase in the aggregate gross domestic product.

"Domestic demand proved to be the main driver of growth. Positive changes were observed in all key components: consumer, investment, and government spending," the report states.

"The most significant impact came from household final consumption expenditures, whose growth was supported by active lending and an increase in real incomes, including wage increases," the EEC adds.

It is expected that in 2026–2027, the economies of the EAEU countries will grow at an average rate of 2.5% per year.
