The initiative for the proposed draft law belongs to the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The amendments made to the Protocol are aimed at addressing the shortcomings identified during the practical application of the legislation; clarifying the terms used in the Treaty on the Union; as well as granting the Eurasian Economic Commission the authority to approve the methodology for assessing obstacles in the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Union and recognizing barriers and restrictions as eliminated.
