The Accounts Chamber of Kyrgyzstan Reveals Financial Violations in the Ministry of Labor: Audit Results for 2024

The Accounts Chamber of Kyrgyzstan has completed an audit of the budget execution of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic for the year 2024, including its structural subdivisions. The audit covered the period from January 1 to December 31, 2024, and aimed to assess the legality of budget fund usage, analyze financial discipline, and verify the accuracy of accounting.

The audit results revealed a number of financial violations and deficiencies indicating non-compliance with certain provisions of the current legislation. The total amount of identified violations amounted to 36 million 560.3 thousand soms, of which 11 million 225.4 thousand soms were related to accounting errors. During the audit, measures taken allowed for the recovery of 2 million 12.4 thousand soms.

During the inspection, instances of violations in accounting procedures were identified, as well as deficiencies in the accounting of fixed assets and the failure to reflect certain material values in the accounting balance. Additionally, violations were found in the process of assigning and paying state benefits, as well as ineffective use of budget funds. As part of the audit, appropriate changes were made to the accounting records to address these deficiencies.

Based on the audit findings, recommendations were made to enhance financial discipline and improve the efficiency of budget fund usage.
