Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, held a meeting with businessmen.
The head of the State Committee noted that the stable operation of businesses, the creation of new jobs, and the formation of a tax base are important aspects of the country's economic development. He also added that the meeting would serve as a platform for open dialogue, where existing problems could be discussed.
“Honest businesses should have the opportunity to operate freely and confidently. The main task of law enforcement agencies is to protect the economy, not to create obstacles. We do not intend to interfere in your activities without grounds. If you are under pressure, we are ready to protect you. The main thing is the honesty and transparency of your work,” emphasized J. Shabdanbekov.
During the discussion, entrepreneurs expressed gratitude for the opportunity for open dialogue and emphasized the importance of transparency in inspections. They also suggested more active communication regarding legislative changes.
J. Shabdanbekov added that all cases of illegal actions by officials would be addressed within the framework of the law. However, he also warned that individuals involved in illegal activities would be held accountable.
