Robert Salas, a former U.S. Air Force officer who was previously responsible for missile launches, shared shocking memories of events when unidentified flying objects, according to him, disabled American nuclear weapons without firing a single shot. This was reported by the media.

Now 85 years old, Salas recounted that in 1967 at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana, 20 Minuteman I intercontinental ballistic missiles were rendered inoperable by a mysterious force that managed to overcome the base's protective systems.

According to him, on March 16 and 24 of that year, base guards noticed unusual lights moving rapidly across the sky, which could suddenly stop and hover, as well as emit a bright red glow before the missiles, located underground, became non-operational.

Salas, one of two officers in the underground launch control center during the Cold War, noted that the guards who called him for help were certain that these were not Soviet planes preparing for an attack.

In a conversation with Danny Jones on a podcast, the Air Force veteran expressed confidence in the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial civilizations, which he believes have come to Earth to prevent a potential Third World War and nuclear catastrophe.

He said, "An extraterrestrial civilization has arrived on our planet, concerned that we might destroy it as a result of nuclear war, for reasons that we may not even understand."

Salas also added that an investigation conducted by Boeing could not determine the cause of the warhead shutdowns, as American missile systems were designed to protect against such interference.

“Engineers could not understand how a signal could be injected into each missile. Our cable system had triple protection against external electromagnetic interference,” he explained.

The first UFO sighting, according to Salas, occurred on March 16, 1967, when ten intercontinental ballistic missiles were unexpectedly disabled by a mysterious object.

Eight days later, around 10:00 PM Mountain Time, a guard called Salas from the underground control room, reporting multiple strange lights flying in the sky over the nuclear base.

The guards claimed that these lights could change direction, make sharp 90-degree turns, and made no sound while doing so.

At first, Salas did not take the guard's report seriously, but soon received another call informing him that a UFO was hovering over the main gate of the base, emitting a pulsing red light.

After the guards took measures to protect the missile complex from the UFO, they reported similar lights hovering over two missile silos located about a mile from the control room.

“Then a loud alarm went off, and we realized that this indicated a problem with one of the missiles. We looked at the screen, and indeed, one of the missiles had changed from green to red. Launch was impossible,” Salas told Jones during the March 13 episode.

“Soon after that, all ten missiles also showed red status,” he added.

Salas noted that warning lights were activated, indicating the intrusion of something or someone into the secured area where the missiles were located.

When he called the guards to check the missile silos, they reported that the UFO had disappeared by the time they arrived on site.

After the incident, officials from the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) required Salas and his commander to sign strict non-disclosure agreements, threatening imprisonment if they discussed the event.

However, many years later, inspired by an article about a similar incident, Salas decided to share his experiences, as he assumed that the information had already become public.

Boeing engineers investigating the missile case concluded that an external electromagnetic signal somehow affected the guidance and control systems, specifically impacting the logic connector of each missile.

Despite this, Boeing noted that no standard device or test could simultaneously affect all ten missiles, as each was housed in a separate silo designed to protect against electromagnetic interference.

According to official data, the Pentagon has long claimed that there is no evidence of UFOs or aliens, nor their visitation to Earth.

Nevertheless, President Trump instructed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to release all government documents related to investigations of these unidentified flying objects so that the public could review the available materials.
