In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the volume of air cargo transportation in Kyrgyzstan, according to information provided by national statistics.
From January to November 2024, air transportation reached a record level of 41.6 thousand tons of cargo, which significantly exceeds the previous maximum of 14 thousand tons in 2023.
Experts note that after the departure of some cargo partners from Europe and Turkey, logistics companies began redirecting consolidated cargo along the route Shenzhen/Guangzhou — Bishkek — Moscow/Yekaterinburg.
One of the reasons attracting cargo carriers to Bishkek is the fast transit processing of documentation, which takes no more than 24 hours, as well as the relatively low price of aviation fuel.
As of April 2025, there are 13 cargo airlines registered in Kyrgyzstan that hold an operator's certificate.
