According to data from Kyrgyzhydromet, from February 6 to 7, precipitation is forecasted in the mountainous areas of the country and on some highways, which may lead to avalanches, snow drifts, and ice formation.

According to the meteorological service, the most dangerous sections of roads where avalanches are possible include:

Bishkek–Osh — 198–255 km (Ala-Bel Pass, Chychkan Gorge);

Ala-Buka – Kanysh-Kyya — 65–110 km;

Krasnaya Gorka – Ak-Tash — 0–3 km;
