A wounded hawk has been admitted to the Karakol rehabilitation center.

In Karakol, a hawk (Accipiter gentilis) was delivered to the rehabilitation center of the public fund "Bugü Ene." The bird was discovered hanging on a tree, entangled with its legs in the branches.

According to preliminary information from the fund's specialists, the predator shows signs that it was previously kept in captivity and in conditions unsuitable for its maintenance. The bird's legs were improperly secured with anklets, which led to injuries.

The hawk is currently in a state of disorientation but is gradually beginning to recover. The center's staff is carrying out the necessary rehabilitation procedures.

After complete recovery, the bird is planned to be returned to the wild.
