In the Uzgen district of the Osh region, violations of hunting rules have been discovered. This was reported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

On March 18, during a raid conducted by inspectors from the Osh Regional Department of the Service for Environmental and Technical Supervision, citizens engaged in illegal hunting were identified in the village of Orto-Aryk of the Karaol Ayil Okmotu.

It was established that residents of the village of Karaol were hunting on so-called "quiet days" — on Tuesday and Wednesday, when hunting is prohibited according to current regulations.

The offenders were apprehended at the scene of the crime. Administrative measures were applied against them in accordance with Article 263 ("Violation of Hunting Rules") of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic. Fines for them range from 12,500 to 25,000 soms.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources reminded that the hunting rules in Kyrgyzstan are approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated February 4, 2025, No. 55, and called on citizens to carefully monitor their compliance.
