In Kara-Kul, measures to prevent offenses among adolescents were discussed

On February 11, a meeting aimed at preventing offenses among youth took place in Kara-Kul.

Attending the event were the mayor of the city, Nurtilek Orozbaev, prosecutor Ilyichbek Isamambetov, head of the Department of Internal Affairs Nurbek Tolonov, head of the Department of Labor, Social Security, and Migration Takhmina Sabyrbekova, chairwoman of the women's council Rabshan Abytkanova, as well as students from local schools in grades 8–11.

The purpose of the event was to enhance the legal and spiritual literacy of the students. Participants discussed important aspects related to the fight against crime, violence, school racketeering, and early marriages.

During the meeting, students were provided with information about the norms of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Experts talked about the consequences of offenses such as theft, mass brawls, and extortion (racketeering). The mechanisms of responsibility for minors and their parents were described in detail.

A separate block was dedicated to the protection of children's rights. Participants were informed about:

- measures to combat violence, exploitation, and discrimination;

- where and how to seek help in case of violations of their rights;

- the obligations of children and parents before the law.

The organizers emphasized the importance of properly organizing youth leisure and supporting the younger generation in the socio-economic sphere. Topics discussed included spiritual education, respect for parents and teachers, adherence to ethical norms, and laws of society.

Experts also examined the negative consequences of early marriages, the protection of the rights of adolescent girls, and the prevention of domestic violence.
