Inspections have begun in the country aimed at identifying schools in poor technical condition and assessing their current state. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Construction.

To carry out this task, a special interdepartmental commission has been established, headed by the State Institute of Seismic Resistant Construction and Engineering Design, which operates under the Ministry of Construction. The commission includes representatives from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and local self-government bodies.

Currently, inspections are being conducted in the Osh region. Commission members are conducting on-site assessments of schools in unsatisfactory condition, analyzing their compliance with building codes and safety standards.

Based on the results of the inspections, a report will be prepared for each facility, on the basis of which appropriate decisions will be made and necessary measures determined.

The Ministry of Construction noted that these activities are aimed at ensuring the safety of citizens, increasing the reliability of educational facilities, and systematically improving social infrastructure.
