A negative credit history is formed if the borrower delays payment for more than 90 days.
During the meeting, the deputies also discussed amendments to the Law "On the Exchange of Credit Information." One of the proposals is to shorten the retention periods for credit information:
- for positive information — from seven to five years;
- for negative — from five to three years.
In addition, it is proposed to establish a norm whereby negative information about loans of less than 10,000 soms will be retained for only one year.
The draft law was adopted by the deputies in the first reading.
