Among the key proposals of the draft law is the reduction of the storage periods for credit information:
- positive information — from seven to five years;
- negative information — from five to three years.
Additionally, the new initiative implies that negative information on loans of less than 10,000 soms will be stored for only one year.
The ministry believes that the adoption of this draft law will create more comfortable conditions for borrowers who have fallen into the credit blacklist, as well as improve the accessibility of loans for individuals and entrepreneurs.
Deputy Marlen Mamataliyev proposed to increase the limit on credit transactions for which negative information will be stored for one year to 100,000 soms. His colleague Dastanbek Jumabekov, in turn, called for an extension of the storage periods for positive credit history so that banks can better identify conscientious borrowers.
As a result of the discussion, the people's deputies approved the concept of the draft law in the first reading.
