According to the deputy, the government has initiated changes to the current legislation, which will lead to an increase in prices for a number of state services, including the issuance of certificates.
“According to the current version of the law, the cost of a certificate should not exceed its production cost; however, the government intends to raise this price. This is blatant commercialization! One cannot enrich themselves at the expense of people by using certificates and directing these funds for commercial purposes. People are already paying taxes for everything, and profiting from the issuance of certificates is wrong,” noted Jumabekov.
The parliamentarian also added that the new legislation stipulates that certificates will only be issued through the "Tunduk" system.
“I consider this a mistaken decision. Not all citizens are registered in this system. There are pensioners and other categories of people who do not have the necessary skills to use it. We should not restrict their rights. Alternative ways to obtain paper certificates at the ayil okmotu should be provided. I clearly see that there are business interests behind this, and this is unacceptable,” concluded the deputy.
