The exchange of indefinite driver's licenses no longer requires the presence of a medical certificate of form 083. This decision was announced by the head of the president's office, Kanibek Tumanbaev, during a live broadcast.
He reported that from January 15 to February 15 of this year, citizens will be able to carry out a free exchange of indefinite driver's licenses, and a medical commission is not needed.
“Recently, we have received numerous questions regarding the queues for obtaining the medical certificate of form 083. I want to clarify the situation: this certificate is not required for the exchange of an indefinite driver's license. It is only needed when obtaining a license for the first time,” Tumanbaev noted.
To exchange a driver's license, you only need to have a valid identification document with you.
The head of the president's office also added that the "Tündük" system still requests the medical certificate of form 083, but this issue is already in the process of being resolved. This requirement will be canceled starting January 15.
