Citizens of Kyrgyzstan have a unique opportunity to exchange their indefinite driver's licenses for free over the next month. This was announced by Kanibek Tumanbaev, the head of the president's office, on social media.
He noted that they have received numerous inquiries from citizens regarding driver's licenses.
“In this regard, I decided to clarify. By the president's directive, from January 15 to February 15 of this year, old indefinite licenses can be exchanged for new documents at no cost. Don’t miss the chance and take care of this as soon as possible,” Tumanbaev added.
It should be reminded that new samples of driver's licenses began to be issued in November 2025. The exchange of indefinite licenses for new ones is possible at the State Agency for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing.
