The Deputy Prime Minister reacted to the new restrictions for Kyrgyz citizens
Following the introduction of new visa requirements by the US State Department, Kyrgyz authorities should initiate a review of the visa-free regime for US citizens. This statement was made by Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov on his social media.
According to the new regulations, when applying for a visa, citizens of Kyrgyzstan are required to provide a deposit of up to $15,000. However, the deposit itself does not guarantee the issuance of a visa.
