The procedures for testing and vaccination are voluntary
In Kyrgyzstan, changes have been made to the process of obtaining a driver's license. Now, citizens who are renewing their license are offered the opportunity to undergo free and voluntary testing for hepatitis B and C viruses, as well as for HIV infection. This testing is conducted as part of the medical examination required to obtain a certificate in form No. 083.
According to the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, this initiative is aimed at the prevention of infectious diseases and the timely detection of viral infections. Testing is carried out in accredited medical institutions, including family medicine centers, where vaccination against hepatitis B is also available.
It should be emphasized that:
- Undergoing tests and vaccination is completely voluntary.
- The results of the testing do not affect the issuance of a driver's license.
- All tests are conducted using sterile disposable instruments, which minimizes the risk of infection transmission during the procedure.
Citizens are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to care for their health, as well as for the early detection and prevention of serious diseases.
Experts note that the implementation of such measures is in line with international practices in the field of infection prevention and is aimed at improving public health.
