This directorate was established on March 25, 2024. According to the list approved by the Presidential Administration and the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan, out of 16 properties, 15 have been transferred to the balance of this directorate.
Many of these properties had been in a state of disrepair for a long time, partially destroyed, and the lack of maintenance led to them becoming unprofitable with accumulated debts. At the time of the transfer to the directorate, the total debt of the sanatorium and resort facilities for salaries and mandatory payments amounted to about 90 million soms. Currently, the debt has been fully repaid, and thanks to effective management, the properties have started to generate profit.
Overall, as a result of the operations of the resort and sanatorium facilities under the control of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan (FPUK), in 2023, it was possible to earn 248 million soms, excluding the Workers' Health Fund (WHF).
In 2024, the income from the properties managed by the directorate amounted to 486 million soms. The plan for 2025 anticipated earning 550 million soms; however, the actual result exceeded expectations — 779 million soms, which corresponds to 141 percent of the planned amount.
