At a press conference, the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan, Muradil Jumadilde uulu, announced the beginning of the active use of the organization's assets. He noted that historically, the FPS focused primarily on providing vouchers.

“Trade unions were created to protect the labor rights of workers; however, until recently, the FPS was mainly engaged in the distribution of power and property, rather than addressing its main tasks. In 2024, a new team took over management, and after two years, we can already talk about the first successes,” emphasized Muradil Jumadilde uulu.

He also reminded that the FPS's assets were transferred to the operational management of the Presidential Administration. The reason for this step is that the trade unions were inefficiently using their resources, and the funds allocated for development were often misused. As a result, the sanatoriums ended up in extremely poor condition.

Since the transfer of the facilities to the Presidential Administration, 1.1 billion soms have been allocated for major repairs and the construction of new buildings. These funds came from the Workers' Health Improvement Fund. It is important to note that until January 1, 2028, there are restrictions on the issuance of vouchers. All allocated money is now directed towards improving conditions for the health recovery of people in the sanatoriums,” he added.

The Chairman of the FPS also noted that five facilities remain under the federation's management, with revenues increased by 71%. “This indicates that we have started to use our assets more effectively,” he concluded.
