The National Film Studio "Kyrgyzfilm" has begun creating a feature film about Jusuп Abdrakhmanov, one of the founders of Kyrgyz statehood. This information was announced by the Ministry of Culture.
Currently, the team working on the film is conducting on-location shoots in Moscow. The main events take place in the "Moskino" film park. This is an important event for Kyrgyz cinema, as national filmmakers are working in this cinema for the first time.
The project features well-known actors from Russia, and an actor from Kazakhstan has also been invited to participate in the filming process.
The national premiere is expected in August 2026, coinciding with the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic, the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Kyrgyz ASSR, and the 125th anniversary of the birth of Jusuп Abdrakhmanov, a public figure.
