The Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic has signed important documents that mark the beginning of the Tunduk travel project — a national digital platform aimed at tourists.
This project involves the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Economy, the Tourism Support and Development Fund, and JSC "Tunduk," which will serve as the technical operator of the platform. The digital infrastructure of the service will be organized based on this enterprise.
Employees of the Department of Tourism shared with the publication 24.kg how the new application will simplify and make tourist trips in Kyrgyzstan safer.
The Tunduk travel application is developed on the "single window" principle, allowing tourists to access government and service-related services, important information, and business services. The platform will be launched in stages: first, the basic functions will be available, followed by testing and subsequent expansion of capabilities.
One of the main aspects of the project is safety. The platform will ensure the protection of users' personal data, secure information exchange between government agencies, and support for tourists in emergency situations.
Users will be able to receive information in advance about the rules of stay, routes, weather conditions, and access zones, as well as quickly contact emergency services if necessary.
The agency emphasizes that Tunduk travel is not just a temporary IT product but a long-term state digital ecosystem. It will develop alongside the country's tourism industry and become an important tool for enhancing convenience, safety, and quality of tourism in Kyrgyzstan.
The goal of the project is to simplify the tourist's journey from the moment of entry into the country until the end of the trip, as well as to promote the development of the tourism business and increase transparency in the industry.
