
Extension of the licensing period for passenger transportation
The Ministry of Internal Affairs informs about the ongoing process of licensing activities related to passenger transportation by cars, which is being carried out in the regions of the country.
Considering the numerous requests from citizens, the period during which one can obtain a license for such transportation has been extended until July 1, 2026. However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs notes that as this date approaches, the number of those wishing to obtain a license is decreasing. Therefore, licensing is proceeding at a more intensive pace in all departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
To obtain a license, it is necessary to prepare the following documents: passport, driver's license, vehicle registration certificate, receipt of payment of the state duty in the amount of 500 soms, and seven additional documents. Three of these documents can be submitted electronically via the mobile application "Tündük".
In electronic format, the following must be provided:
- certificate of registration with the tax authorities;
- contract of mandatory civil liability insurance for passengers;
- certificate of criminal record status.
- When visiting in person, the following must be provided:
- employment contract with a legal entity (carrier or fleet);
- power of attorney for vehicle management and/or lease agreement;
- act of passing the vehicle's technical inspection;
- medical certificate of the driver's health status.
