The Ministry of Defense considers it necessary to review the fees established in 2017, taking into account inflation and economic growth.
In the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Defense has proposed an initiative to increase fees for alternative service.
It is reported that the current rates were set in 2017 and require revision due to changes in the economy and inflation.
At present, the amount that citizens must pay for alternative service due to family circumstances is 18,000 soms, while those with health restrictions must pay 25,000 soms.
It is proposed to increase these amounts to 25,000 and 50,000 soms, respectively. Additionally, those serving alternative service for religious reasons will also pay 50,000 soms.
