As a result of the inspection conducted by the GKNB, it was established that one of the companies supplying weapons did not fulfill the terms of the contract with the Ministry of Defense of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the special service, an audit carried out by the Ministry of Finance revealed damages amounting to 244,587,870 soms (approximately 2,700,000 euros). As part of the initiated criminal case and the investigative actions taken, this amount was fully reimbursed by the company.
In addition, the GKNB continues to conduct operational activities aimed at identifying officials of the Ministry of Defense of Kyrgyzstan involved in this corruption scheme.
