As a result of the inspection, a decision was made to relocate the market to a new site that meets the established requirements.
The mayor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, noted: “We will start the relocation, brothers. When will the new site be ready, Adilet Sharshenalievich?” [first deputy mayor Adilet Sharshenaly uulu].
The first vice-mayor replied: “It will be ready within a week.”
Toktorbaev added: “If there is only a week left, gather the people and distribute notifications. The traders should receive their spots at the new market in advance to avoid misunderstandings. Hold a meeting, allocate the spots, and show each person where they will be trading. After the relocation is complete, Mirlan Kazybekovich, we will start from that corner — we will demolish everything and clean it up. But first, we need to relocate the people, and then we will take care of the cleaning. Hold the meeting today.”
One of the sellers asked: “When exactly will the move take place?”
To this, Toktorbaev replied: “The move is scheduled for February 15.”
The seller clarified: “Will you show us the place first?”
The mayor assured: “The place is already ready, I just mentioned it.”
The seller asked: “Will it be a rental or a purchase?”
Toktorbaev answered: “It will be a rental.”
The first vice-mayor added: “All traders must relocate. No one will stay here. Walk around and show each person their spot at the new market.”
The responsible services were instructed to create all necessary conditions for entrepreneurs during the relocation process, offer alternative trading sites, and conduct explanatory work among the population.
