According to the minister, in recent years (2024-2025), the company's efficiency has been low, resulting in a 40 percent shortfall in medication supplies.
“We have completely replaced the management and eliminated ineffective management schemes along with corruption. Medications have been ordered that were supposed to arrive as early as 2025. A commission was established at the end of December, and urgent measures were taken. The first batch of medicines has already arrived this week and is currently undergoing the registration process. Hospitals are receiving medications for cancer patients and newborns,” the minister explained.
Kanibek Dosmambetov added that all hospitals will be supplied with the necessary medications within the next two months.
He had previously mentioned the crisis situation in "Kyrgyzpharmacy," pointing to internal management problems such as weak management, conflicts of interest, and in some cases, the involvement of former leaders in schemes with pharmaceutical companies.
