As part of the monitoring of the autumn-winter period of 2025–2026, the Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration, Kanat Sagynbaev, visited the social stationary institution for the elderly in Sulyukta. This information was provided by the ministry's press service.
During his visit, the minister inspected the conditions in which elderly citizens live and assessed the needs of the institution, where 14 people are currently receiving services.
The director of the institution pointed out the need for modernization and renovation of the building, which would improve the level of comfort and safety for its residents.
Kanat Sagynbaev noted that it is important to carry out systematic work to improve the quality of social services while creating a safe, warm, and cozy atmosphere for people under state care.
The ministry is responsible for 17 social stationary institutions. According to the agency's data, four of them are heated with coal, three use a combined method (coal and electricity), and nine are heated exclusively with electric heating. During the current autumn-winter period, the institutions are operating in a stable mode.
To ensure constant heating supply in 2025–2026, 1708.2 tons of coal were purchased, of which 621.4 tons remain as of today. All social stationary institutions have sufficient fuel reserves to maintain a comfortable temperature in the premises.
