The Ministry of Labor, Social Welfare, and Migration of Kyrgyzstan reports a significant decrease in the level of official unemployment in the country.

According to the department's data, in 2025, thanks to the implementation of state employment programs, this figure stood at 1.4 percent.

There were 56,500 people registered with employment services, which is 20 percent less compared to the previous year. The number of officially registered unemployed decreased by 22 percent.

Throughout 2025, 17,500 citizens found jobs with the support of the ministry, and another 19,800 people participated in active employment programs, such as vocational training, retraining, and temporary employment.

The ministry emphasizes that the reduction in the unemployment rate is related to the expansion of employment programs, improvements in the regional economy, and an increase in demand for labor in the private sector.
