The most accident-prone days of the week in Kyrgyzstan were revealed by the State Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

A forum was held in Bishkek, gathering participants from all over Kyrgyzstan to discuss issues related to road traffic accidents and road safety. The event was attended by representatives of the Main Directorate for Road Traffic Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the capital's Patrol Service, the city administration, the Ministry of Health, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, as well as students and activists.

The main topics of discussion included the implementation of state programs aimed at improving road safety, enhancing infrastructure in hazardous areas, including the installation of street lighting, road signs, and the creation of pedestrian zones.

Participants also emphasized the need to strengthen control over violations related to speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Representatives of the Main Directorate for Road Traffic Safety presented statistics on accidents in the country. According to their data, the highest number of road traffic accidents is registered among citizens aged 25 to 40 years. Serious accidents, including those with fatal outcomes, most often occur at night—from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM.

The most accident-prone days of the week turned out to be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
