Sayubek Nadyrbekov, the First Deputy Minister, reported that representatives of the ministry traveled to various regions to assess the current state of affairs, develop the foundations for reforms, and create analytical maps for museums.
As part of the monitoring, meetings were held with museum sector employees, and the existing regulatory framework was studied. The ministry has formed a database on the state of museums in Kyrgyzstan.
Nadyrbekov also noted that an electronic catalog of the State Museum Fund has been developed, a project for virtual tours called "Sanarip Egiz" has been implemented at the Mikhail Frunze Museum and the "Manas Ordo" complex. In addition, the electronic information system K-CRMS has been launched, new departments "Sanarip jana Arhiv" have opened, and a virtual corner of the history of Kyrgyzstan is being created in the National Museum of Mongolia "Chinggis Khan".
According to the ministry, there are 34 subordinate museums operating in the republic.
