Pavel Desyatnikov has passed away at the age of 65; he previously served as a deputy of the Bishkek City Council. This sad news was confirmed by his relatives.
Desyatnikov was born on October 26, 1961, in Bishkek. He was elected as a deputy of the Bishkek City Council three times: in 2008, he was elected as an independent candidate, from 2012 to 2016 he represented the Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan (SDPK), and in 2017 he was elected from the party "Mekenim Kyrgyzstan".
From 2012 to 2016, he chaired the permanent commission on housing and communal services, transport, energy complex, and investments. In 2019, Desyatnikov was forced to resign early due to health issues.
In the spring months of 2019, he was awarded the high title of "Honorary Citizen of Bishkek."
