Currently, the possibility of introducing a universal allowance for all children under the age of three is being discussed. This was announced by Edil Baysalov, Deputy Prime Minister, during a meeting of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration board.

According to the ministry's press service, Edil Baysalov emphasized that special attention will be given to the social protection of women with children, people with disabilities, as well as families in difficult situations, including mothers and children living in remote and mountainous areas, as well as on the border.

Earlier, deputies proposed a draft law aimed at expanding social support for discussion. It mentions allowances for all families with children up to 12 years old, and for needy families—until the children reach the age of 16.

Later, Edil Baysalov stated that it is impossible to start payments to all children without considering their parents' income. Nevertheless, he assured that in the coming months, the government will take steps to improve the situation regarding allowance payments.
