Svetlana Nazarenko spoke about her condition and rehabilitation after a stroke
Svetlana Nazarenko, better known as Aya from the musical group "Gorod 312," recently appeared as a guest on the program "Hello, Andrey!" on the channel "Russia-1." During the show, she candidly spoke about her struggle with the consequences of a stroke that occurred three years ago, which forced her to temporarily leave the stage.

According to the singer, the cause of the stroke was a blood clot that detached after she had contracted coronavirus four times.

“When I was transferred from intensive care, there were caregivers and nurses who took care of me when I was completely immobilized. Few people knew about this, even in Kyrgyzstan. A huge thank you to you, my dear girls,” she confessed in a conversation with Andrey Malakhov.

Svetlana underwent a lengthy rehabilitation process and currently cannot fully control her left arm, which is why she performs while sitting.

Despite the challenges, she assures that she can already move independently, although sometimes she needs support from handrails. Every day, the singer practices special exercises and spends at least 15 minutes on the treadmill.

It is important to note that despite all the trials, last autumn she returned to the stage and continues to work hard on her recovery.

During this time, her place in the group was taken by Diana Makarova.
