The junior team of Kyrgyzstan, consisting of students from the scientific-educational complex "Lomonosov School," represented the country at an international curling tournament in Yichun. Teams from Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, and Russia also participated in the competition, creating a serious competitive environment.
Aysuluu Duyshonbekova, a ninth-grader and team member, has been curling for several years and underwent training camps in Turkey. She shared her impressions of participating in the tournament: "For me, being one of the first to engage in curling in our country is a significant achievement."
The participation of Kyrgyz athletes in such international competitions is seen as an important step towards popularizing curling in Kyrgyzstan and strengthening its position on the global sports stage.
