The head of the department, Police Colonel Tilek Kanatbekov, is participating in these crucial initiatives.
During these events, residents of the district have the opportunity to voluntarily surrender registered firearms. So far, 26 units of firearms and one gas-traumatic pistol have been handed over.
The goal of this program is to clarify to citizens the rules for the legal handling of weapons, as well as to prevent the possession of illegal weapons and ammunition.
Police officers report that such security enhancement activities in the region will continue in the future.
