Mambetov emphasized that this winter season, there has been extremely little snow recorded in Bishkek and the Chui region, while some other regions of the country have experienced heavy precipitation.
He also warned of a potential increase in risks associated with mudflows and landslides, which is related to warming and active snowmelt. All units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have already received relevant information from the monitoring and forecasting department.
In Kyrgyzstan, about 4,000 areas have been identified that may pose a danger due to landslides, where approximately 4,000 families reside.
Additionally, Azamat Mambetov noted that the country is currently experiencing a cycle of low water levels.
