Recently, a bozo festival took place in the Naryn region, at the "Salkyn-Tor" recreation area, as a result of joint efforts by the local authorities of two districts.

According to Kanibek Esenaliev, the deputy akim of the Ak-Tala district, the event was part of a three-day press tour organized by the presidential envoy in the Naryn region. The main goal of the festival was to develop winter tourism and promote the historical and tourist sites of the region.

During the celebration, the Ak-Tala and Naryn districts shared responsibility for the events to best reflect the cultural heritage of the area:

The Ak-Tala district organized the bozo festival, where masters not only treated guests to this national drink, which has become the hallmark of the district, but also demonstrated traditional technologies for its preparation. Additionally, a local product exhibition was held.

The Naryn district took on the cultural part of the program and organized the folk crafts exhibition. The exhibition featured works from the best masters, designers, and artisans.

About 70 people participated in the festival, including foreign tourists and media representatives. Guests were offered not only national cuisine but also tours of historical landmarks. Esenaliev noted: "The Ak-Tala district showcased unique methods of preparing bozo and introduced guests to the historical heritage, while the Naryn district presented the richness of our craft art and culture. The exhibition brought together the best producers and masters of the region."
