In Bishkek, meat prices were checked: raids took place in the markets

On February 15, raids aimed at monitoring compliance with maximum meat prices were conducted in Bishkek. These activities took place in the markets of the Sverdlovsk district and were led by Ilya Kolopov, head of the mayor's office of the capital.

Inspections were organized in accordance with the order of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic dated February 13, 2025, No. 01-12/04, which establishes maximum prices for meat (beef and lamb, excluding boneless meat) in Bishkek.

The raids also involved Mirlan Amangeldiev, head of the municipal administration of the Sverdlovsk district, representatives of the city's antimonopoly service, and employees of the veterinary service of Bishkek.

Conversations were held with sellers about the importance of strict adherence to legislative requirements and state-established prices.

The department noted that these raids are aimed at stabilizing prices for essential products and protecting consumer rights. Monitoring of the situation in the capital's food markets will continue in the future.
