Inspections were organized in accordance with the order of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic dated February 13, 2025, No. 01-12/04, which establishes maximum prices for meat (beef and lamb, excluding boneless meat) in Bishkek.
The raids also involved Mirlan Amangeldiev, head of the municipal administration of the Sverdlovsk district, representatives of the city's antimonopoly service, and employees of the veterinary service of Bishkek.
During the inspections, attention was focused on the following aspects:
- preventing unjustified price increases for meat products;
- availability of necessary documents confirming the quality and origin of the meat;
- compliance with sanitary norms and trading regulations.
Conversations were held with sellers about the importance of strict adherence to legislative requirements and state-established prices.
The department noted that these raids are aimed at stabilizing prices for essential products and protecting consumer rights. Monitoring of the situation in the capital's food markets will continue in the future.
