At a recent collegial meeting held in Naryn, the results for 2025 were discussed, with particular attention given to issues related to domestic violence.
As revealed at the meeting, there are 59,304 families registered in the region, of which acts of violence have been recorded in 595 cases. These figures highlight the need to intensify measures aimed at strengthening family well-being and preventing violence.
Among the most alarming aspects are cases of violence against children and adolescents. In particular:
- 52 incidents of violence against children have been registered;
- 35 cases concerning minors have been identified.
Additionally, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, there are currently 299 children registered with the internal affairs departments, which constitutes 0.5% of the total number of minors in the region.
During the meeting, tasks were formulated for the relevant services aimed at preventing domestic violence, strengthening child protection mechanisms, intensifying preventive work, and expanding educational activities among the population.
Experts note that combating this problem requires joint efforts from government agencies, local authorities, society, and parents.
