A woman named T.A. reported to the police about a fraud committed by two women she barely knew, named "Ch." and "N.". They obtained jewelry worth 36 million soms under the pretext of selling it. This information was announced by the press service of the Sverdlovsk District Department of Internal Affairs.
According to law enforcement agencies, the suspects sold the jewelry to a pawn shop at a reduced price, and the money received from the sale was not returned within the stipulated time. After that, the women went into hiding.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 9 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational-search activities, the women Sh.Ch., born in 1985, and S.N., born in 1988, were identified and detained.
The detainees have been placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
