According to information provided by the police, at the beginning of the year, on January 22, 2024, a citizen identified as N.K. filed a complaint stating that he had been sold two plots of land with a total area of 16 acres. The transaction was carried out by unfamiliar individuals who introduced themselves as M. and A., and $200 thousand was paid for it.

The investigation established that the suspects were not the owners of the specified plots and used deceptive schemes to cause significant damage to the victim. Of the initially paid amount of $200 thousand, only $57 thousand 500 was returned, after which the fraudsters disappeared.
According to preliminary data from the investigation, the total damage amounted to 12 million 281 thousand 156 soms.
In connection with this incident, the Investigative Service of the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department initiated a criminal case under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational search activities, one of the suspects, U.M., born in 1985, was detained. He is currently in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The identity of the second suspect has already been established, and measures are currently being taken to detain him. The investigation is ongoing.
