Eastern Bypass Road of Bishkek: two interchanges will be built in Chui region
As part of the construction of the eastern bypass road of Bishkek, the creation of two transport interchanges with intersections is planned. This was reported by Sanjar Zhantaev, the first deputy representative of the president in the Chui region, at a meeting of the regional administration following the results of 2025.

According to Zhantaev, the planned interchanges will be connected to the streets of Sukhe-Bator and Leo Tolstoy in Bishkek.

It is worth recalling that at the end of December, the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, launched the implementation of an important infrastructure project—the eastern bypass road.

The project includes not only two interchanges but also the construction of five major transport hubs, as well as an overpass bridge in the Kant area.

The new transport corridor will be laid in the eastern part of Bishkek, bypassing the dense urban development. The length of the road will be 16 kilometers.

According to information provided by the representative of the head of state, the eastern bypass road will also pass through the rural municipality of Kara-Jyach in the Alamedin district and will be connected to Akhunbaev Street.
