On February 18, a meeting of the organizing committee took place at the Bishkek city hall, dedicated to the preparation for the First Youth Delphic Games of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The event was attended by the mayor of the city, Aibek Junushaliev, and the director of the International Delphic Committee, Vladimir Ponyavin.
During the meeting, issues related to the current state of preparation for the games, organizational support, and cooperation with other member states were discussed.
The organizational headquarters is operating according to a previously approved plan, within which teams from the participating countries are being formed. Currently, the procedure for the final confirmation of these teams by the organizing committee is underway.
Earlier, qualifying rounds were held, the results of which determined the participants who became part of the national teams of the Kyrgyz Republic and the city of Bishkek.
As a result of the meeting, the task was set to ensure a high level of organizational preparation for the upcoming games, which are scheduled to take place from March 23 to 28, 2026, in Bishkek.
