Recently, the premiere of the official trailer for the artistic action drama "Illegal: Through Mexico" took place. This film explores the complex and dangerous routes of illegal migration through Mexico, as reported by the project's producers.

Created by the team that brought viewers "Paradise Under the Feet of Mothers" — a film that sparked widespread public resonance, the new work elevates Kyrgyz cinema to a new level both in terms of genre and production.

"Illegal: Through Mexico" is the first action drama filmed in South America, featuring picturesque jungles and other challenging natural locations. The shooting process took place under extreme conditions, adding realism, tension, and scale to the film.

The film addresses an important topic that many prefer not to discuss. It shows the real price that must be paid for the illegal path through Mexico and tells the stories of people who risk their lives to achieve personal goals. It is a story about borders — both external and internal, about the value of dreams and the resilience of the human spirit.

The director of the film is Ruslan Akun. The main roles are played by actors: Emil Esenaliev, Zhakhan Utargaliyev, Aysanat Edigeeva, Rauan Akhmedov, and Abilaykhan Ainabekov.

A distinctive feature of this project is international collaboration — the participation of Kazakh actors expands the geographical scope of the plot and enhances the regional scale of the film.

The premiere of the film in Kyrgyzstan is scheduled for March 19. After that, the film will be available in theaters in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries.
