The Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic invited the UN Secretary-General to visit the Nomad Games and the SCO summit.

On February 23, during his participation in the high-level segment of the disarmament conference, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, held a meeting with the UN Secretary-General António Guterres. The conversation addressed current issues of cooperation and its prospects.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the meeting confirmed the important role of the UN in maintaining peace and responding to global challenges, as well as expressed readiness for further constructive cooperation.

Discussing the "UN-80" initiative, the parties paid special attention to issues of enhancing the effectiveness and modernization of the organization. Kulubaev confirmed support for the ongoing reforms and readiness for joint work on their implementation, noting the active interaction of the Kyrgyz side with UN agencies in the country.

The minister also spoke about plans to hold the SCO summit in 2026 and the VI World Nomad Games, as well as the preparation for the "Bishkek+25" summit in 2027. In this regard, Kulubaev invited the UN Secretary-General to visit Kyrgyzstan to participate in these significant events.
